This role in Public Health Services requires recent public health nursing experience. You will work collaboratively with community teams, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and client support. Key tasks include immunizations, health assessments, and educational outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Immunize individuals against preventable diseases
• Investigate and follow up on communicable diseases
• Provide prenatal and family health consultations
• Deliver health education in various community settings
• Maintain comprehensive health records and statistics
Requirements:
• Current Registration as a Registered Nurse in BC
• Six months relevant Public Health nursing experience
• Valid Class V BC Driver's License
• Proven knowledge of health promotion and epidemiology
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
