Transport Refrigeration Technician

Transport Refrigeration Mechanic – up to $44.49/hr & up to $4.93/hr pension

Do you have an excellent attitude and experience working in automotive mechanics? Are you looking for a steady, permanent, day-time schedule with opportunity to grow? Our client in Coquitlam, BC is looking for hardworking, motivated Mechanics to join their team.

• Permanent, full-time role; day-time schedule (8 to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday)

• Opportunity to become a mobile mechanic with company vehicle and autonomous schedule.

• Work on-site at the mechanic shop located in Coquitlam, B.C. during training period, with eventual transition to mobile technician servicing clients throughout Lower Mainland, B.C.
• Service, maintain and repair truck / trailer reefer units, air conditioning equipment, container refrigeration units and Gensets.
• Install Reefer units
• Ensure all work is completed to TKBC standards
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service to clients
• Participate in the on call service rotation (Mobile technician) as required

• Prior experience in automotive, heavy duty, or refrigeration transportation mechanics.
• Red Seal certification is an asset, but not required.
• Positive, Team Player attitude
• Ability to adapt and think quickly on feet.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC/air conditioning is preferred.
