Use your passion for helping others as an Employment Consultant at WCG in Coquitlam, BC. Your role will focus on assisting clients in their employment journeys through effective case management.
In this role, you will manage approximately 80-100 clients, providing guidance and support tailored to individual needs. Your responsibilities will include assessing job readiness, facilitating skills training, and maintaining solid partnerships with employers. You’ll also promote client engagement through convening job fairs and community networking events, enhancing their prospects for employment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct client assessments for employment readiness
- Track client progress within the case management system
- Accomplish program goals and service targets
- Engage with employers to create job opportunities
- Facilitate community events to connect clients to jobs
- Relevant degree or certification in a related field
- Experience in case management and client mentoring
- Understanding of community resources and job search techniques
- Excellent digital skills, including Microsoft Office
- Adherence to skilled and confidentiality standards
