As an independent contractor, you will work directly with children under the guidance of a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist. This role emphasizes relationship-focused approaches and requires strong organizational skills. You will be responsible for executing intervention plans and documenting progress while receiving ongoing mentorship and supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement communication goals as designed by the supervising SLP
• Support children through play-based, relationship-focused interventions
• Collect session data and document progress accurately
• Complete chart notes within 24 hours post-session
• Participate in supervision meetings and virtual observations
Requirements:
• Completion of recognized SLPA or CHA program
• Eligible to work in British Columbia
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable transportation for home visits
• Current Criminal Record Check required
