Position: Full-Time Outreach Worker
Become a vital support at Coast Mental Health as a Full-Time Outreach Worker in Coquitlam, BC. Help individuals thrive in the Cottage Semi-Independent Living Program through wellness checks and independence support.

This permanent Full-Time position emphasizes direct community engagement and effective collaboration within a trauma-informed framework.

Your role will involve assisting residents in maintaining housing stability, developing life skills, and promoting wellness, while maintaining a safe living environment. You'll work closely with internal staff, healthcare providers, and community agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel daily for wellness checks and support

• Assist with daily living skills and personal care

• Monitor residents' wellbeing and respond swiftly

• Promote community engagement through activities

• Document all interactions and progress accurately

Requirements:

• Diploma in Community Social Service

• Two years of related experience required

• First Aid + CPR and WHMIS certifications

• Valid Class 5 driver's license preferred

• Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Clearance
