Residential Care Worker

Kinsight seeks compassionate individuals to join our team in Coquitlam and surrounding areas. This role focuses on promoting independence, facilitating personal care, and providing emotional support. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in Human Services and a minimum of one year of relevant experience, specializing in Positive Behaviour Support and diverse care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individuals in home environments to foster independence

• Promote learning and community connections through engagement

• Provide personal care and advocate for individual rights

• Follow personalized care plans and develop routines

• Assist with emotional, social, and medical support as needed

Requirements:

• Diploma in Human Services or equivalent

• At least one year of experience with developmental disabilities

• Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support

• Class 5 Driver’s License and personal vehicle required

• Current First Aid/CPR certifications needed
