Community Liaison Nurse

Position: Community Liaison Nurse at Fraser Health
Become a Full Time Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse at Fraser Health, enhancing mental health care in the Tri-Cities region.

Your role will focus on community liaisons and support.

In this significant position, you will provide essential services that link hospital care to community support for children and adolescents in crisis. Your work will include crisis counseling, assessing treatment needs, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure effective follow-up. Experience in mental health settings is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication on patient transitions

• Deliver crisis intervention and preventative care

• Utilize assessment methods for client evaluations

• Keep comprehensive patient records and reports

• Participate in continued education and research

Requirements:

• Approved Nursing degree and active BCCNM registration

• Two years of experience in psychiatric or crisis settings

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License

• Strong knowledge of legislation affecting mental health

• Effective communication skills in diverse environments
