We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimize our logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in cross-border shipping, carrier relations, and logistics coordination to ensure timely, cost-effective transportation solutions.

Full time / 2 years contract - Salary Range: $35 – $37 per hour
- Monday to Friday. 30 hours per week

- Vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year
Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule domestic and cross-border (Canada/US) shipments via truckload, LTL, and intermodalBook carriers, negotiate rates, and secure equipment (e.g., dry vans, reefers) to meet customer requirementsMonitor shipments in real-time, resolving delays or disruptions proactivelyBuild and maintain relationships with carriers, brokers, and co-loaders to expand Rolls-Right’s networkServe as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing updates and resolving logistics issuesQuote freight rates and advise customers on optimal shipping solutionsTrack and report OS&D with carriers and warehousesUse logistics software (e.g., Truck Right, Truck Right 3PL) to track shipments and generate performance reportsIdentify cost-saving opportunitiesRequired Skills:Completion of a post-secondary education program of less than two years in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered3+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordinationProven experience in supply chain coordination, preferably within the trucking or 3PL industryFamiliarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with carriers, drivers, and customersStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of transportation regulations and safety standardsDetail-oriented and highly organized with a focus on accuracyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Rolls Right Requirements:
Versatile and a team playerA problem-solver that works well independentlyProven experience in working in a warehouse, preferably in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of logistics processes, including shipping, receiving, and inventory managementProficiency in using logistics management software and other relevant toolsExcellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsAbility to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of import/export regulations and international shipping procedures is a plusExperience with customs clearance processes and documentation is an advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
