ALC in Coquitlam is looking for an organized, proactive, and energetic Driver & Warehouse/Logistics Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that the right materials get to the right job sites at the right time. Your primary purpose will be to keep our inbound and outbound material organized, efficiently and flowing smoothly.

Key Responsibilities- Perform regular inventory counts and track stock materials.
- Receive incoming packages and shipments, check content for accuracy against packing slips.
- Process material and delivery requests from Project Managers, Foremen, and team members.
- Deliver materials safely to project sites and pick up orders from various local vendors.
- Check Purchase Orders (POs) and accurately record information on the software tool.
- Scan and save packing slips to the appropriate digital files to maintain accurate records.
- Notify team members when the materials ordered arrive.
- Manage and process packing slips that arrive without a PO and troubleshoot discrepancies.
- Route processed packing slips with matching POs directly to the receiving department.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and run efficiently.
- Handle basic maintenance duties around the warehouse and office.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience as a delivery driver
- 1+ years of working in a construction, electrical, or trade‑based warehouse environment
- 1+ years of experience working on a computer
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 lbs.
- Familiarity with tracking specialty wire, cabling, or trade tools.
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and organizing physical spaces.
- Comfort interacting with vendors and project teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and effective English verbal/written communication.
- Microsoft Dynamics (MSD) or similar software
The expected base salary range for this role is between $33,000.00 CAD - $83,000.00 CAD annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. This compensation includes components such as base salary, vacation pay, public holiday pay, potential estimated overtime pay and paid statutory leaves of absence.
Additional benefits may include insured benefits such as health care, vision, dental, disability, as well as possible retirement contributions.
This role may also provide the opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation in the form of annual bonus, sales bonus, sales commission or local incentive. If the role provides for an opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation, it will be based on measurable performance factors which may include company performance, individual performance or other key performance indicators.
Use of AITechnology‑enabled tools may support parts of the recruitment process, with oversight by people.
