Overview

Audit Staff Accountant | Public Accounting

• Assist in planning, executing, and completing audit engagements.
• Perform fieldwork, including testing internal controls and substantive procedures.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Prepare detailed working papers and documentation to support audit findings.
• Contribute to audit reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with clients and senior auditors to deliver high-quality service.
• Stay current on evolving auditing standards, accounting principles, and industry trends.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience of public accounting/audit.
• CPA eligibility preferred (active pursuit a plus).
• Strong understanding of auditing principles and practices.
• Proficiency with CCH Tax Software, RIA Checkpoint, Quick Books, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
