Staff Accountant with Yardi – Coral Gables, FL

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant with Yardi software expertise for a 2+ year Project / Construction role. The candidate will join a high-performing, fast-growing philanthropic organization. The position offers a competitive salary, annual bonus, and an outstanding benefits package.

• Reviewing budgets, including staffing, work plans, and fee structures.
• Producing WIP (Work in Progress) reports.
• Creating percentage‑of‑completion reports.
• Providing project managers and clients with timely financial reports, budgets, and project forecasts.
• Preparing pre‑billing reports for project managers to review.
• Preparing actual cost, working capital, and tax reports.
• Monitoring receivable income and supporting project managers with collections.
• Issuing invoices and purchase orders, and paying consultant, subcontractor, vendor, and supplier bills.
• Ensuring steady cash flow by generating, auditing, and sending invoices in a timely manner.
• Updating contracts according to client requirements and reporting associated budget amendments.

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Construction industry accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Yardi software (required).
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday, normal business hours.

Salary: $70,000 + annual bonus.
