Responsibilities

• Review tax returns, tax work papers, and tax projections.

• Possess strong technical skills in partnerships, C‑corporations, and S‑corporations (knowledge of individual taxation is a plus).

• Provide effective consulting, planning and compliance for clients.

• Perform tax research to resolve issues.

• Oversee and manage the day‑to‑day needs of clients and the tax return process, including identification and resolution of tax issues.

• Work to expand the client base and support business development activities.

• Participate in industry or service line‑related organizations.

• Maintain strong relationships with a highly proactive approach to serving clients.

• Coordinate with partners to ensure timeliness and effective communication for proper planning of projects.

• Coaching, mentoring, and training staff.

• Maintain knowledge of new tax issues and general business trends that affect clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required;
Master’s in Taxation preferred; CPA preferred.

• 10+ years of progressive public accounting experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capable of managing multiple client engagements.

• A track record of building and sustaining client relationships and high‑quality client service.

• Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

• Proficient with CCH Axcess, Sureprep, BNA Income Tax Planner, CCH Answer Connect, RIA Checkpoint, XCM, and Microsoft Office.

• Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.

Location:

Coral Gables, FL. This is a hybrid position.
