Job description

Office Pro, Inc is an Audio Visual and IT staffing company looking to hire an experienced Audio Visual and Live Event/Run of Show technician for a high-profile client in the Coral Gables, FL area.

The hired event and audio-visual support technician will be working Thursday - Sunday evenings from 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm each night for a six-month term to begin in January. Additional built in times to for set up and tear down will be expected to include show pre-tests.

THIS IS A 6 MOS CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY for 24 - 30 hours per week

Weekly Job duties will include:
  • Setting up and breaking down for live events
  • Pre-run of show testing and ensuring all systems are ready to go
  • Troubleshooting of any issues during testing or the show
  • Set up and running of mixing boards
  • Digital audio set up
  • Video Wall set up and presentations linked to the wall for use during live event
  • Wireless mic and audio set up to ensure full functionality
  • Troubleshooting of all digital video walls
  • Mixing - live music - Audio heavy background for live events
  • Set up and support of tickers and Building projection
  • AV to run sound, ensure full functionality, video wall support and troubleshooting
  • Digital mixer and console connections
  • Connect all Audio and video components - to ensure full functional run of show as well as troubleshooting any issues on demand
  • Ability to be professional and remain calm and assured under pressure with capabilities to troubleshoot and rectify in a stand-alone environment
Experience

Required:
  • Applicants should be qualified Audio-Visual Technicians with experience in:
  • Video Walls (Planar, Nanolumen and the like)
  • Digital Mixing Consoles
  • Live event audio runs and set ups including, but not limited to, microphones, wireless mics and the like
  • Run of show experience of live events to include: pre-show runs, testing of all equipment
  • Troubleshooting experience in the Audio-Visual space including live event and video walls
  • White glove client support at a high-profile level
