We are looking for a skilled Customer Service Representative with experience in answering phones (expect high volume calls) and assisting customers, preferably within the bodily injury or insurance industry. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and empathy. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while ensuring every customer interaction is positive and efficient.
Key Responsibilities :
- Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist clients with inquiries regarding bodily injury claims, providing clear and accurate information.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns, and following up on claims.
- Accurately document customer interactions and update records in the system.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless handling of claims and customer needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all privacy regulations.
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the bodily injury or insurance industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong phone etiquette and the ability to handle high call volumes.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and able to work with clients during difficult times.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with customer service software (preferably Panther Practice).
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in customer service is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in bodily injury claims, insurance, or personal injury law.
- Knowledge of insurance terminology and claims processes.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
