Studio Design Lead - Luxury Hospitality Design | Coral Gables, FL

We are seeking a Studio Design Lead on behalf of our client, a luxury hospitality design firm known for delivering exceptional guest experiences through innovation, collaboration, and design excellence. The Role

The Studio Design Lead plays a pivotal role, serving as both a Project Manager and the guiding force behind the aesthetic and design direction of all office projects. You’ll be the steward of design standards, ensuring consistency, innovation, and beauty across a portfolio of high‑profile hospitality projects.

In this role, you will :
  • Oversee design development and review all projects before they advance to the Design Director.
  • Lead client presentations and provide continual design feedback to project teams.
  • Establish and implement firm‑wide presentation and design standards.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships while consistently driving satisfaction.
  • Set and manage client expectations, while fostering lasting partnerships.
  • Mentor and inspire design teams, creating an environment of collaboration, growth, and accountability.
  • Pioneer processes that optimize workflow, productivity, and creative outcomes.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in 4–5 star hospitality projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Interior Architecture.
  • Proven ability to lead design teams, manage client interactions, and uphold project financials.
  • Mastery of AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Strong organizational skills, accountability, and the ability to roll up your sleeves to work side‑by‑side with the team.
  • A passion for delivering design excellence while cultivating strong relationships.
