. This part-time faculty position is within the Frost School of Music, Music Vocal Performance, Dance program. Candidates must hold a MA, MFA, or PhD in dance or a related field and have at least one year of relevant experience; prior college teaching experience is a plus. Demonstrated success as a performing artist, teacher of dance, or certification in dance/movement therapy is required.
- Teaching dance history, modern dance classes (all levels).
- Teaching improvisation, composition, cultural dance, and dance/movement therapy.
- Teaching methodology of dance education at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- MA, MFA, or PhD in dance or a related field.
- Minimum one year of relevant experience.
- Prior college teaching experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated success as a performing artist, teacher of dance, or certification in dance/movement therapy.
