Position Overview

Gulliver Prep’s After School Care program is seeking to hire After School Care Counselors to join their passionate team of individuals. Qualified candidates should be energetic, self-motivated, responsible, fun, dedicated, and who love working with children in grades PK-4. The After School Care Counselor will be responsible for the supervision of a group of similarly aged children and will spend the majority of the afternoon with the students following the program schedule.

Counselors will need to be able to participate in all activities and be able to think quickly in order to make decisions for their group of students responsibly.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma (Associate’s degree preferred).
• Strong instructional, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to promote a positive and collaborative professional culture.
• Passion for education, student development, and professional learning.
• Commitment to Gulliver Prep’s mission, values, and continuous improvement.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Criminal Background Check, Level II Fingerprint Screening(s), and Drug screen.
