- Conduct structural inspections to evaluate building systems, structures, and components (typically single-family residences, condos, commercial buildings, etc.) in the South Florida area
- Document observations via photograph and video
- Determine the cause, origin, and duration of reported damages
- Establish recommended procedures and methods for repair
- Active Professional Engineer (PE), Structural Engineer (SE), or Engineer Intern (EI) license in the State of Florida
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, Master’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years in structural design, inspections, and/or forensic engineering
- Experience conducting forensic engineering investigations
- Familiarity with local code requirements and associated governing agencies
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Works wellwith colleagues and clients
- Self-motivated and organized
- High levelof integrity, always conducting business in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way
- Willing to travel with personal vehicle
- Special Inspector (SI) license
- UAS drone pilots license
- Level II Certified Thermographer
