As an Assistant Project Manager in Land Development
, you will conceptualize the initial design approach for a major phase of a large project or hold overall responsibility for the engineering work on a project of limited scope.

• Planning, scheduling, conducting, or coordinating engineering work involving conventional engineering practices with complex features such as conflicting design requirements.
• Developing working drawings for civil site plans (layout, plan and profile, grading, drainage, and paving).
• Planning and designing facility layout and site design projects.
• Drainage design experience preferred;
  Cascade 2001 and/or ICPR Version 4 preferred.
• Proficient AutoCAD skills.
• Supervision of less experienced engineers or technical support personnel, if assigned.
• Independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation of standard techniques and procedures.
• Basic decisions regarding alternative procedures when information is incomplete.
• Coordinating additional information needs with internal clients.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (required).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (preferred).

• 5+ years of post‑graduate civil engineering experience.
• Preparation of civil engineering plans in water and wastewater distribution and conveyance infrastructure, focused on site‑design project components.
• Review of contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships.

• Miami‑Dade County design/permitting experience (preferred).
