A growing organization in the renewable energy and construction sector is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to support large-scale solar and clean-energy projects.

Position Overview

The Procurement Manager will oversee purchasing, supplier management, and contract negotiations for materials, equipment, and services used in solar and renewable-energy construction projects. This role requires strong knowledge of supply chains, engineering coordination, and project-based procurement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage procurement strategies for construction and engineering materials used in solar and renewable-energy projects.
  • Source, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and service providers.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and delivery schedules to support project deadlines and budgets.
  • Monitor supply chain trends, lead times, and risks affecting construction and renewable-energy materials.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to ensure alignment with project specifications.
  • Track supplier performance and implement cost-saving and process-improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement standards, regulations, and sustainability goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in construction or engineering.
  • Experience supporting solar or renewable energy projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, electrical components, and renewable-energy equipment (solar panels, inverters, racking, batteries, etc.).
  • Proven experience negotiating contracts and managing multiple suppliers.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
