Overview
The Loan Production Specialist supports Account Executives in sales production by prospecting broker relationships, structuring and pricing loans, and coordinating documentation with brokers and borrowers. The role also provides operational and reporting support to sales management.
Responsibilities- Manage 21 Day and 8 Day LOI Reports (Outstanding LOls for SBC and DSCR) for the team according to sales management
- Manage the Appraisal Order pipeline for the sales team by following up with brokers via phone or email for pending appraisal orders
- Receive, package and QC/Audit loan requests for all needed documentation in support of the group of AEs assigned to the Specialist.
- Provide broker support for questions on loan submission portal and other broker related tech
- Answer inbound phone calls on the main SHF ACD line (Avaya)
- Support the broker registration/approval process with brokers
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years equivalent experience in sales, mortgage banking, or real estate preferred.
- Prior experience supporting sales, banking, or loan production teams is advantageous.
- Strong business acumen with knowledge of real estate and banking trends.
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Proficiency with PCs and technical tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to customer focus and compliance.
- Strong organizational skills with flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- A.F.E./NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator License preferred.
- Formal credit or small business banking training a plus.
- This role will be based Coral Gables or Fort Lauderdale, FL.
- This role is hybrid, with 3 days on‑site (Tues – Thurs).
