Teller, Finance & Banking

This Teller position in Coral Gables, Florida is responsible for assisting customers with all basic banking needs, including processing deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, cashier's checks, loan payments, cash advance requests, and foreign currency exchange.

• Scan every transaction at their station, confirm all fields are correct, and make proof corrections when applicable.
• Buy and sell money to Lead Teller.
• Maintain cash limit in teller drawer.
• Gather CTR information for transactions that exceed the established threshold.
• Process cash advance requests and savings bonds.
• Process loan payments.
• Process the bags received from armored couriers.
• Prepare the night depository log.
• Balance the cash drawer daily.

• High school diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of cash handling experience.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Computer knowledge in MS Software (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Jack Henry training and knowledge of banking laws and regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act/AML and Patriot Act is preferred.
