Controller – Manufacturing – On‑Site

Our client is seeking a hands‑on Controller to lead accounting and financial operations for a well‑established, high‑growth manufacturer. This is a highly visible role for a finance leader who enjoys partnering with operations and executive leadership, owning the full accounting function, and driving financial insight. The Controller will act as a true business partner.

• Lead and own end‑to‑end accounting operations, including month‑end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Serve as a key partner to executive leadership on financial strategy and operational performance
• Provide accurate, timely financial reporting to internal stakeholders and a publicly traded parent organization
• Analyze product and job cost trends, margins, and operational KPIs
• Support revenue recognition review and customer credit evaluations
• Oversee inventory accounting, including WIP, finished goods, cycle counts, physical inventories, and obsolescence analysis
• Drive continuous improvement across cost controls, inventory management, and financial processes
• Support ERP reporting enhancements and system optimization
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX 404 controls, tax, and regulatory requirements
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounting team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred
• 10+ years of accounting experience, including cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
• Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and inventory accounting
• ERP experience and advanced Excel skills
• Proven leadership ability with experience managing competing priorities under tight deadlines
• ERP implementation experience is a plus
• Experience in a public company is a plus

Expected salary range: $160 K – $190 K, depending on experience.
