We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team! As a Medical Assistant, you will prepare for each patient visit by organizing charts and notes, support nurses and medical staff with routine tasks, and assist in tracking tests and lab reports to ensure timely delivery and patient communication. You will also manage medical supplies inventory, set up testing equipment, and clean instruments and rooms as needed.

All staff, from front desk to office manager, are cross-trained in Medical Assistant responsibilities to ensure smooth office operations during absences or breaks. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning about the medical environment, and previous office experience. Proficiency in English is required, and Spanish is preferred.

• Prepare for patient visits by organizing charts and setting up medical equipment
• Clean instruments and equipment after use
• Answer phones and address questions about medical issues, determining visit needs
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures
• Track lab results, process prescriptions, and perform basic office duties

• BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant preferred
