The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the Banquets and Event Set‑Up Team. This requires a solid understanding of food and beverage service standards and ensures all policies and procedures are followed. This person supervises banquet room set ups, service, and maintenance of all banquet functions and banquet equipment. Experience with food and beverage service in banquets, special events, restaurants, and maintaining guest satisfaction is helpful.
These responsibilities may also include staff training, development and scheduling. The Assistant Operations Manager will promote an atmosphere that ensures customer and colleague satisfaction. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments and team members. Additionally, this position may support other areas within Food & Beverage, including the Restaurant, Market, and Bar, gaining exposure to other operational areas in an effort to promote growth and cross‑development of talent with the operational departments.

- Service oriented style and professional presentation skills
- At least 2 years of leadership experience within the F&B Division of a hotel
- Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service, and ability to improve the bottom line
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
- Possess a demonstrated ability to prioritize and see projects and tasks through to completion
- Clear concise written and verbal communication skills
