Role OverviewThis role blends traditional IT management with internal customer success. You will lead a small support team, oversee IT infrastructure and security, and act as the anchor for platform adoption – especially as we roll out AI‑enabled and SaaS‑based solutions. Your mission is to enable smarter workflows, help users through learning curves, and ensure adoption sticks.
Key Responsibilities IT Operations & Team Leadership- Lead and mentor a team of two IT support engineers, ensuring reliable day‑to‑day tech support.
- Manage employee lifecycle support including provisioning, access, and device management.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, and SaaS administration.
- Maintain IT documentation, asset tracking, and performance monitoring.
- Own and manage the firm’s cybersecurity tools, protocols, and user training.
- Ensure systems and practices meet SEC cybersecurity and RIA compliance requirements.
- Partner with legal/compliance on regulatory audits, access logs, and risk controls.
- Manage endpoint protection, MFA, data backups, and incident response plans.
- Be the internal champion for AI and SaaS platform adoption across departments.
- Work closely with business teams to understand their workflows and tailor training and onboarding.
- Deliver hands‑on enablement sessions, build internal guides, and provide 1:1 or group onboarding.
- Serve as a liaison between users and product/tech teams to capture feedback and improve usability.
- Help users navigate dashboards, reporting tools, and other analytics interfaces.
- Promote data literacy and encourage self‑service usage of business intelligence platforms.
- Manage technology vendor relationships and SaaS license inventories.
- Recommend and evaluate new tools that align with business and operational goals.
- Stay ahead of trends in AI, SaaS, and security best practices.
- 5+ years of experience in IT management or senior IT leadership; real estate or investment experience preferred.
- Proven ability to roll out and drive adoption of SaaS or AI‑based platforms internally.
- Familiarity with cloud systems (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), endpoint security, and networking.
- Strong communicator who can educate, support, and inspire tech adoption across non‑technical teams.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and SEC/RIA regulatory expectations.
- Change management mindset and a passion for improving digital workflows.
- Experience in an RIA, private equity, or investment environment.
- Technical certifications (CompTIA, CISSP, CISM) or platform‑specific credentials.
- Familiarity with CRM, ERP, analytics, and AI tools.
