Legal Search solutions is looking for a Construction/ Contracts Associate for a reputable boutique client in Miami, FL. The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience with experience in construction contracts. The firm combines big law capabilities with boutique level service.

• Assist in drafting and negotiating construction, design, design build, and related contracts.
• Collaborate to assess project specific contractual needs, considering factors such as cost, location, and intended use.
• Apply legal expertise to identify and mitigate risks during contract formation.
• Work with a diverse client base including public entities, educational institutions, private developers, low-income housing developers, homeowners, condominium associations, and general contractors.

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• Strong knowledge of construction, lien, and surety law preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• 5-7 years of experience in construction law and contract work preferred.
• Experience with drafting contracts required.
• Litigation experience preferred.
