Overview

The VP of REO (Real Estate Owned) Asset Management is responsible for building and operating a REO retention and resale platform within Lakeview’s MSR portfolio. This individual will report to the SVP of Sub-Servicer Oversight. This role owns the end-to-end lifecycle of the business — from property identification and renovation decisioning to financial management, construction oversight, and disposition. This role will design and scale a repeatable, data-driven operating model that ensures every eligible asset is analyzed, tracked, and executed against disciplined return thresholds.

Over time, the role will also evaluate opportunities to extend this model across third-party REO portfolios to increase enterprise-wide profitability.

This position is classified as remote; however, preference will be given to candidates who are local to the Coral Gables, FL area and able to commute to the office for a hybrid schedule of three days per week. We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $150,000, an annual bonus, 401(k) company jednu and comprehensive medical benefits starting on day one.

Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Business Development
  • Responsible for overseeing the disposition strategy for as-is vs. as-repaired assets to maximize net recovery for all of Lakeview’s MSR REO assets
  • Manage the Asset Management Team
  • Develop standardized go / no-go decisioning models based on repair scope, market liquidity, and return thresholds
  • Create and present KPIs to present to Sr. Management and the Sub-Servicer Oversight Team
  • Collaborate across internal teams & companies to ensure seamless portfolio execution
  • Manage the REO vendor(s)
Financial Ownership & Performance Management
  • Own full P&L responsibility for the REO retention and resale strategy.
  • Build and maintain financial models assessing ROI, IRR, margin, and capital efficiency
  • Utilize market research and business intelligence, including AI, to stay abreast of current market conditions
  • Develop and inac‑maintain performance reporting, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for Senior and Executive Management
  • Create and automate a Lakeview best-execution calculator to source assets
Operational Execution & Process Design
  • Oversee all sales and marketing activities for all properties
  • Build and manage a network of third-party construction management and contracting partners, including REO vendors
  • Partner with the Sub-Servicer Oversight Team to optimize the REO pipeline and renovation timing
  • Collaborate with data and technology teams to enhance workflow automation, analytics, and AI-enabled decisioning
