Rosewood Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an experienced
Nursing Unit Manager to oversee the daily nursing operations of an assigned unit. The Unit Manager will work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and effective team performance.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate daily nursing services for the assigned unit
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies
- Supervise and support nursing staff, including assignments and workflow
- Monitor nursing documentation and resident care to ensure quality and accuracy
- Ensure medications, supplies, and equipment are adequately stocked and available
- Assist with resident assessments and individualized care planning
- Address staff concerns and resident/family grievances appropriately
- Promote staff education, training, and professional development
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to support positive resident outcomes
- Current Florida RN license in good standing
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings
- Minimum 1 year of nursing management experience
- Current CPR certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Must meet all applicable state licensing and certification requirements
This role requires Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening.
