The Global Outside Services Lead is responsible for managing and optimizing contracts for facilities-related vendors across all company sites worldwide. This role ensures consistent service delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance by consolidating agreements for services such as lawn care, janitorial, snow removal, HVAC, and other outside maintenance needs. Acting as the central point of contact for vendor relationships, the lead will drive global standardization, negotiate favorable terms, and support new site expansions with timely vendor onboarding.

This position reports to the Coralville Campus Infrastructure & Reliability leader and is part of the Facilities Team located in Coralville, IA and is an on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
  • Vendor Contract Management:
    Oversee and maintain contracts for all outside services vendors across global sites, ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations.
  • Service Consolidation & Optimization:
    Evaluate existing contracts for services such as lawn care, janitorial, snow removal, and HVAC; identify opportunities to consolidate vendors and reduce costs.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Establish KPIs and conduct regular reviews of vendor performance to ensure service quality, reliability, and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Budget & Cost Control:
    Develop and manage budgets for outside services, negotiate favorable terms, and implement cost‑saving strategies without compromising quality.
  • Global Coordination & Expansion Support:
    Collaborate with site leaders and facilities teams to standardize global service agreements, support new site rollouts with timely vendor onboarding, and manage contracting and scheduling of additional external services.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, related field OR 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in facilities management, vendor management, or procurement roles with global scope.
  • Proven experience negotiating and managing service contracts across multiple regions.
  • Strong understanding of facilities services (HVAC, janitorial, landscaping, snow removal).
  • Strong analytical and cost‑control capabilities, as well as excellent negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
Travel & Physical Environment Requirements
  • Ability to travel as required (up to 10%, including overnight stays).
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and safety regulations related to facilities services.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support global sites.
