This position is part of the finance department located in Coralville, IA and will be onsite. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive.

• Contribute to the maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger for tax‑related accounts
• Support the development, implementation, and documentation of procedures, processes and internal controls – including owning the Tax Certification process for Corporate
• Act as preparer for U.S. indirect taxes and Canadian tax compliance (GST/HST/QST) calculations, deliverables, and payments
• Assist in development of transfer pricing analysis on a quarterly basis and the annual R&D Tax Credit analysis and documentation
• Contribute to Corporate direct tax deliverables such as soft‑close provision, year‑end tax reporting package, legal entity EBT forecasting, and tax roll forward

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field with 2+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree in accounting with 0+ years experience
• Professional accounting/tax expertise
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Internal Revenue Code (IRC)
• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
• Prior experience with internal controls over financial reporting (SOX)

• CPA preferred
• Vertex preferred
