Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) PRN – IRF

Lifepoint Health’s Eastern Iowa Rehabilitation Hospital is recruiting an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a PRN, part‑time position in the inpatient rehabilitation facility.

Schedule: PRN
Location: Eastern Iowa Rehabilitation Hospital,
Hours: Flexible

• Under guidance of supervising OTR/L, acquire pertinent information and implement a comprehensive program using varied techniques and treatment activities.
• Review and modify treatment in response to changing patient needs; identify equipment and discharge needs.
• Provide treatment to diverse diagnostic populations and complete supporting documentation according to hospital policy and State Practice Act.
• Observe treatment affect, accomplishment of short‑ and long‑term goals, and recommend change to the supervising OTR/L, if needed.
• Communicate and collaborate with support personnel regarding treatment orders as directed by the supervising OTR/L.

• Current state licensure/certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Previous experience in patient care preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
