Blue Stone Therapy was founded in 2009 and provides contract physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology to communities in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Our focus is to deliver optimal, individualized rehabilitation by highly skilled professional therapists while developing long-term partnerships between our staff and the communities they serve.

We are seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist in the Coralville area. This position provides direct patient care to primarily adult and geriatric patients.

• Provides screenings and evaluations to determine requirements for skilled occupational therapy intervention relative to patient’s prior level of function.
• Develops and implements treatment plans that focus on functional and measurable outcomes and adhere to professional standards of practice.
• Monitors patients' progress and adjusts treatment plans as needed.
• Provides appropriate supervision for occupational therapy assistants in compliance with licensure, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Collaborates with, coordinates, and participates in training programs for community staff, patients, families, and rehabilitation staff.
• Participates in continuous quality improvement activities.

• Successful completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills.
• Compassionate and patient‑centered approach to care.

• Current valid Occupational Therapist license to practice in the appropriate state.
