Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is a Danaher operating company dedicated to advancing genomics and life science research. We’re looking for a reliable and skilled technician to assemble mechanical, fabricated, and/or electrical/electronic systems into sub‑assemblies or complete units as part of our Machine Assembly Team in Coralville, Iowa. This on‑site, weekday day shift role (Monday‑Friday, 7:00 a‑4:00 p) reports to the Value Stream Leader – Machine Assembly.

This Role, You Will Have the Opportunity To

• Set up and operate automatic or semi‑automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
• Follow engineering drawings, work order information, manufacturing assembly procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process.
• Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub‑assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Install, modify, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment according to established documentation.
• Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Ability to travel when needed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 75 lb.

It Would Be a Plus if You Also Possess Previous Experience in

• Using ERP systems.
• Following SOPs.
• Machine Operating, Process Operations, Product Assembly, and Production Technician roles.
