** Security Clearance:
** None/Not Required Under direct supervision the Assembly Operator performs routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes. Must be available to work Alternative 2nd shift, Noon - 8 pm. Shifts are determined by business needs.
** What You Will Do**
* * Technical Tasks:*  + Perform machine and/or manual assembly.  + Scope, soldering, and computer work required.  + Perform unique assembly processes.  + Accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.  + Take ownership of accuracy of processes.
* * Customer Focus:*  + Meet internal and external customer deadlines as determined by team.  + Build parts that meet drawing specifications.  + Comply with applicable elements of quality systems (ACE).
* * Special Projects:*  + Demonstrate initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule.  + Understand and use computer tools such as SAP and accurately follow work instructions.  + Achieve special process certification where applicable.  + Demonstrate a proactive role in problem solving.  + Pursue certifications in continuous improvement (ACE).
* * Communication:*  + Interface with other functional groups to update, inform, acknowledge or resolve problems related to production issues.  + Effectively interact with others.
* * Participation:*  + Participate in cost reduction plans.  + Participate in waste minimization efforts.  + Participate in audits.
* May be required to be on feet for long periods of time.
* Safety glasses and other safety equipment are required depending on task.
* Must be able to effectively work in an environment requiring repetitive job responsibilities.
* Ability to focus on safety and quality is extremely important.
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
* This position is on Alternate 2nd Shift, Noon - 8 pm. Must be willing and able to work Alternative 2nd shift, Noon - 8 pm.
* ** Training is typically on 1st shift. Candidates must be willing and able to train on 1st shift for up to 4 weeks.
**** Qualifications You Must Have
*** Requires HS Diploma or equivalent. In the absence of a HS diploma or equivalent, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
