Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Corrections Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Coralville, IA.

This role offers consistent hours, multiple shift options, and competitive pay for both local and travel nurses.

• Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Compensation

• Local Candidates: $58/hour
• Travel Nurses: $2,606/week (must reside 50+ miles from facility)

Requirements

• Active RN license (Iowa or compact state)
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work in a correctional facility environment
• Strong clinical and communication skills

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensurethe well-being of the incarcerated population. The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specificchallenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing careto their patient population. This care includes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facilitysetting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
