Oncologist – Join CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group’s expanding oncology program in Lexington and Berea, Kentucky. This full‑time position offers competitive compensation, robust benefits, and a focus on work‑life balance.
Position OverviewHematology‑Oncology specialty; MPH board required, Hematology board not required. Monday‑Friday schedule with 4 hours admin weekly. Light 1:6 weekday call and 1:4 weekend call. Work independently with ample patient panel and referral base.
Responsibilities- Understand, support, and implement the facility’s mission to deliver health care to those in need.
- Ensure patient care meets or exceeds facility quality standards.
- Ensure patient satisfaction meets or exceeds facility standards.
- Educate patients on clinical and managed care.
- Participate in clinic and network task forces as requested.
- Function as an effective clinic team member.
- Meet productivity and quality performance standards.
- Effectively use clinic financial and other performance information.
- Demonstrate commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct at all times.

- Successful completion of an accredited residency program in the U.S. or Canada.
- Successful completion of an accredited fellowship program in the U.S. or Canada.
- Open to new graduates.
- Kentucky medical license (eligible).
- DEA registration.
- Board certified in Oncology;

The oncology location will be in Lexington, Kentucky, with additional services accessible across the network’s 88 locations. The facility offers state‑of‑the‑art technology including FDA‑approved drugs, linear‑accelerator based radiation therapy, and advanced robotic surgical support.
