Schedule:

Clinic hours (Tuesday-Friday +Monday), 8a-430p and take call during the day and at night (call back is very rare)

Scope of Work:
New consults, rounding
Licenses, Certifications, Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine-Hem/Onc, active KY license (IMLC or LOQ), BLS/ACLS, DEA.
EMR: EPIC
regular hours, night call, and weekend call:
Jan 2027 - Dec 2027. Additional gap dates to pick up as needed. No regular hours on the weekend.

Shifts available:
Clinic hours (Tues-Fri + Mon) 8-430 and take call during the day and at night (call back is very rare at this location)

Typically more Hematology than Oncology patients but this does fluctuate from month to month
Call varies also, they don't get called back into the hospital, usually just phone calls to answer questions or concerns
Call would be on the weekends as well. It goes from a Tuesday to a Tuesday.
New consults per week for Hematology and Oncology patients will be between 15 and 20 depending on the referral volumes
There will be hospital rounding with a midlevel to assist
Patients usually go through the ER and get admitted from there if needed. Not many direct admits from the office.
