  • Perform and oversee surveying assignments, which may include boundary, right-of-way, easement, topographic, and construction surveys, as appropriate to the division’s services.
  • Research and evaluate deeds, plats, legal descriptions, survey records, and other information relevant to survey assignments.
  • Prepare and review survey plats, legal descriptions, calculations, and related deliverables.
  • Maintain responsible charge of surveying work under your supervision and sign and seal applicable documents.
  • Establish field procedures, technical standards, quality review processes, and accurate project records.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, deliverables, and client communication.
  • Coordinate with Emerald's right-of-way, title, permitting, and GIS professionals to support client projects.
  • Identify staffing, equipment, vehicle, and software needs to support growth.
