* Job Description:

**** RN PRN-ER
*** Performs care requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgement and nursing skills based upon the principles of psychological, biological, physical and social sciences in the application of the nursing process.
* Utilizes high-level assessment skills to design and ensure multidisciplinary patient care to meet holistic needs, incorporating established practice guidelines and regulatory standards.
* Must possess ability to supervise LPNs, CNAs, Techs, Unit Secretaries, and Clinical students.
* All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.
* Ability to identify the scope of practice issues, prioritization, critical thinking, effective decision making, communication, interpersonal relationship skills, delegation and team leading skills consistent with the level of professional growth.
* Adheres to specific hospital policy and procedures.

I.
** Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required
*** Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
* Current RN license in the state of Kentucky or Kentucky work permit.
* Certifications based on the unit worked:  + BLS  + ACLS  + Pals  + BCA  + CPI  + 12 Lead EKG  + NIH Stroke
