Customer Service Associate – Temporary

Walgreens is hiring a temporary Customer Service Associate to provide friendly and efficient service to patients and customers in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment.

$15.00/hr – $17.50/hr

• Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Register sales, collect cash, provide accurate change, and process voids, returns, and exchanges as needed.
• Maintain clean, well merchandised counters and shelves; take inventory and keep records.
• Recommend items for sale, including trade‑up and companion items, to support sales goals.
• Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco).
• Assist with visual merchandising, including constructed displays, promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise.
• Assist with food‑item separation and stock rotation using FIFO methods.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities: monitor Picture Care Plus orders, pick items, and deliver orders to arriving customers.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to keep store condition clean and orderly.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.

Attend training and complete PPLs requested by manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
