Projects and Sectors The role supports care home and later-living schemes, typically valued £10m £12m, with projects reaching up to £30m.
The Role The Document Controller will support the flow of technical information across multiple live projects. The position is initially office based, with hybrid working available once established. The role sits within a well-organised delivery team and reports directly to the Senior Document Controller. The position involves managing drawings, specifications and project documentation to ensure accurate control, timely distribution and full compliance with internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities Maintain document control systems with accurate version control Upload, track and issue drawings and technical information Support project and site teams with document queries Maintain audit-ready records for quality and project governance Assist with setting up new projects and document workflows Liaise with design teams, subcontractors and consultants to keep information moving Experience and Skills Required Minimum 18 months experience in a construction document control or project support role Strong understanding of construction processes and documentation Confident using document management systems and digital platforms
