Full-time Art & DT Teacher

Teaching Years 7-11 (KS3 & KS4)

Temporary role starting January, ongoing

Delivering dynamic and inspiring lessons across Art & Design Technology

Encouraging creativity, craft skills and problem-solving

Promoting a positive studio/workshop environment

Working alongside an enthusiastic and supportive staff team

🎨 Plan and deliver imaginative Art & DT lessons

✏️ Differentiate content for mixed-ability learners

🛠️ Facilitate practical, hands-on workshop sessions

📚 Assess and monitor student progress

🤝 Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school aims

🧩 Maintain flexibility and a proactive teaching approach

✔️ Requirements

QTS or strong UK secondary teaching experience

Experience teaching Art and/or Design Technology at KS3 & KS4

Strong classroom management skills

Creativity, enthusiasm and adaptability

Excellent ICT skills and confident curriculum knowledge
