Cover Supervisor

Pay Rate: £90–£110 per day

GSL Education is looking for a reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisor to work within a range of schools based in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in education or those looking to step into a classroom environment and further their teaching career within supportive school settings.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring smooth lesson delivery in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and create a focused learning environment.
• Assist students with their tasks and provide support when needed.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure lesson continuity.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong skills in both English and Maths.
• Excellent classroom behaviour management abilities.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
• Prior experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting is advantageous.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A positive and adaptable attitude to cover lessons in various subjects.
