Primary Teacher - SEN Setting

KS1 & KS2 MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance Temp to Permanent Opportunity

Time Plan Education are currently recruiting for a committed and resilient Primary Teacher to join a specialist educational setting supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and supporting children who may have previously struggled within mainstream environments. The role would suit someone who can create a calm, engaging and structured learning environment where pupils feel supported to achieve both academically and personally.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated and supportive staff team and will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching tailored to individual pupil needs.

Salary
  • Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale: M1 - L2 ( 32,916 - 53,069 DOE)
  • SEN Allowance available (up to M6)
The Role
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across KS1 and KS2
  • Plan and deliver learning in line with the National Curriculum
  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, ensuring progress both academically and socially
  • Create a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with support staff, parents/carers and external agencies
  • Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress effectively
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Lead and support classroom staff to ensure effective learning outcomes
The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience working with pupils with SEN and/or SEMH needs
  • Be confident adapting learning to meet individual needs
  • Have strong behaviour management skills
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Be reflective, proactive and keen to continue developing professionally
  • Work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
