RoleWe are seeking an experienced CAD Designer from the sheet metal / fabrication sector to join a busy and growing design team. You will be responsible for producing technical general arrangement drawings, as well as 2D and 3D production drawings for bespoke metalwork projects.

This is a hands-on technical role where you will support projects from concept design through to fabrication and site installation.Key Responsibilities

• Produce 2D and 3D CAD designs and technical drawings
• Create detailed production and component drawings for manufacturing
• Develop technical general arrangement drawings for client approval
• Carry out site surveys to inform accurate design solutions
• Liaise with key stakeholders including Tier 1 contractors
• Support manufacturing teams throughout fabrication and assembly
• Manage multiple projects through the design phase
• Ensure compliance with structural and construction requirements

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years' experience within the metal fabrication / engineering sector
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D and Inventor
• Proven experience producing fabrication and manufacturing drawings
• Solid understanding of construction methods and structural requirements
• Experience working on bespoke fabricated metal structures
• Comfortable managing your own projects
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients
