Mechanical Service Engineer

Corby, Northamptonshire

£43,000 - £47,000 + 6.7k Car Allowance plus overtime, door‑to‑door travel, full industry/product training, and a 7 % pension contribution.

Hybrid workshop and field work – split between the company workshop in Corby and nationwide travel to client sites, with occasional stayaways.

Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to step into a hybrid workshop/field position and receive comprehensive training in a niche technical product range.

The Role:

Installation, maintenance, repair and support of packaging machinery and equipment.
Perform mechanical tasks such as welding, machining and fitting.
Receive industry‑specific training and product knowledge.
Work both in the Corby workshop and on national field assignments.
Travel door‑to‑door with a car allowance and overtime.

The Individual:

Mechanical Service Engineer or similar background.
Any engineering or machinery experience will be considered.
Full UK driving licence and ability to commute to Corby.
Willingness to travel nationwide.
Ex‑Armed Forces or REME experience considered an advantage.
