Junior / Trainee CAD Technician (Civil Engineering) £30,000 - £35,000  Bonus  Progression  Training  25 Days Holiday Hillsborough Are you a Junior/Trainee CAD Technician with an HNC, HND or similar in Civil or Construction, looking to kickstart your career for a large and well renowned company, where you will be trained and developed with clear scope to progress your skill set and become a fully-fledged Technician?

In this trainee role you will be producing drawings using AutoCAD, generating quotes and proposals, creating BOMs, and liaising with internal engineers. There will be continuous training through shadowing experienced engineers on the job, along with internal courses if needed. Founded over 100 years ago, this geocomposite company supply to a range of industries such as highways, defence, mining, and coastal.

They pride themselves on their constant growth over the years, turning over £20 million last year, along with excellent development and internal progression opportunities. This role would suit somebody with AutoCAD experience looking to join a reputable company that will invest heavily into their long-term development, allowing them to progress into a fully-fledged Engineer.

The Role:

Producing drawings using AutoCAD, generating quotes, proposals, and BOMs Liaising with Civil Engineers, conducting site visits once a month Ongoing training and development through shadowing Engineers in the office Monday to Thursday, 9am - 5:30pm, finish at 4:30pm on Friday
