Aftersales Manager

We are representing a reputable, family-run main dealer in Corby seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager to lead their Service, Parts, and Warranty operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a proven track record in aftersales management within a main dealership environment.

Basic salary between £40,000 and £45,000 per annum
OTE of £50,000 to £55,000 including bonus

Duties of the Aftersales Manager:

Take full responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the Aftersales department
Lead, motivate, and develop Service, Parts, and Warranty teams to achieve departmental targets
Set and monitor KPI measures, targets, and objectives
Drive workshop utilisation, productivity, and profitability
Maximise labour and parts sales, ensuring revenue targets are met
Oversee warranty claims, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction, handling concerns professionally
Monitor department performance for continuous improvement
Develop and implement strategies to increase customer retention and satisfaction
Manage customer complaints effectively, resolving issues efficiently
Oversee warranty processes within company policies and timescales

Requirements of the Aftersales Manager:

Proven managerial or supervisory experience within an aftersales/service operation at a main dealer
Strong knowledge of Service, Parts, and Warranty procedures
Track record of achieving departmental KPIs and financial goals
Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of department profitability
Proven ability to motivate and develop staff as the Aftersales Manager
Exceptional customer relationship management skills
Ability to resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively
Experience in analysing department performance for continual enhancements
Confidence in dealing with difficult situations and resolving complaints
