Registered Manager​/Deputy Manager - Children's Home

An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager / Deputy Manager to join a well-established residential care provider supporting young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.

As a Registered Manager / Deputy Manager, you will lead a 3-bed residential home, supporting young people while maintaining high standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.

This full-time, permanent role offers a salary range of £33,000 - £45,000 and benefits. Experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up into a Registered Manager will also considered.

• Providing effective leadership and direction to the care team.
• Building positive, trusting relationships with young people and supporting their individual needs.
• Encouraging participation in educational, recreational, occupational and social activities.
• Developing and reviewing personalised care plans and programmes to support individual development.
• Keeping staff informed of daily plans, priorities and individual support needs.
• Supporting the induction of newly admitted young people.
• Reviewing care records and associated documentation.
• Supporting recruitment, staff training, performance management and ongoing professional development.
• Managing activity-related funds appropriately.

The candidates from the following background will be considered:
Registered Manager, Deputy manager, Home Manager, Homecare manager, Registered Care Manager, Registered Home Manager, Deputy care manager, Deputy home manager, Assistant Manager, Care Manager, Assistant Home Manager, Assistant Care Manager or in a similar role.

• Approx 2 years of experience working within a residential childcare setting.
• Experience supervising and leading a team.
• A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People or an equivalent qualification.
• Background in developing and implementing personalised care plans.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare - working towards or willing to undertake.
  
  Enhanced DBS check.
• Right to work in the UK.
